Adagio Massage & Bodywork

What to Expect

Every massage session is custom-tailored to your body’s needs on the day of your visit. I blend specialized modalities—including Swedish Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, SRT, and Cupping—to down-regulate your nervous system and deliver gentle, long-lasting pain relief without unnecessary discomfort.

While I do combine techniques in a custom session for massage, every modality—including CranioSacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, and SRT—is fully available as an individual, dedicated treatment tailored entirely to that specific practice.

(See the Services & Rates page for more details about each modality.)

What to Expect During Your Session

  • Custom Consultation: We begin each appointment discussing your physical demands, current tension patterns, and wellness goals.

  • Nervous System Focus: Rather than forcing muscles to submit, I use gentle techniques that encourage your central nervous system to release tension naturally.

  • Calm Environment: Enjoy a calm, clean, and tranquil space in Longmeadow Professional Park designed for complete rest.

Modalities Offered

  • Swedish Massage: Promotes deep physical relaxation, increases oxygen flow, and reduces baseline physical stress. (please note Pregnancy Massage is available for a 60 min session only.)

  • CranioSacral Therapy: A light-touch approach that releases restrictions within the fascia of the brain and spinal cord to ease headaches, burnout, TMJ, and chronic strain as well as many other concerns.

  • Lymphatic Drainage: Gentle, rhythmic movement that reduces systemic inflammation, supports fluid movement, and aids recovery. Eases inflammation, swelling, and pain.

  • SRT: Gentle, guided stretches and passive motion to increase range of motion, reduce pain, and support fascial unwinding. (please note an SRT session is available for a 90 min session and the price is $200.)

  • Myofascial Release: Targets the connective tissue wrapping muscles to restore structural alignment and mobility.

  • Cupping Therapy: Uses negative pressure to increase blood flow, decompress tight fascial layers, and accelerate tissue recovery.

While my practice centers on the physical demands of healthcare providers and caregivers, I welcome clients from all backgrounds and professions who are seeking thoughtful, restorative bodywork.
